Refractory Monolithics

Castables are concrete mixes made of refractory raw materials and binders that become solid masses and achieve their optimum desired properties only after mixing and the application of heat. Castables can be easily installed by Casting, Hand Packing, Vibration Casting, Pneumatically Gunning, Pumping, or Shotcreting.
Plastics and Ram Mixes are mixtures of refractory clays and aggregates supplied in either a thick solid moldable mass or contained granular form that must be rammed or tamped into its desired form.
